Easter

I won't lie.  This Easter was fun, but not as fun as years past.  With my mom battling cancer (and WINNING by the way), it wasn't quite the same.  We made the best of it however. Preston loved his gifts from the Easter Bunny and enjoyed participating in his first egg hunt.  Jim and Debbie came to visit that weekend as well, so we had a full house.  My beautiful friend Freya took these pictures of the boys in their Easter outfits.

A side note: I bought the boys' outfit a few weeks ahead of time for Freya's photo shoot.  By the time it was time to wear them to church, Max had grown out of the pants that went with his outfit.  The shorts he is wearing actually belong to his brother....

The Easter Bunny left a trail of jelly beans leading from Preston's crib to his Easter basket.  Preston was quite thrilled and took the time to eat each jelly bean before moving on to the next. Max was blissfully unaware that the Easter Bunny didn't really think to get him anything... :(  I am sure he will make up for it next year!
